This week the technical conferences ENERMAR Marine Renewable Energies are held in Avilés, at the Niemeyer Center. They are organized by the Association of Naval and Ocean Engineers of Spain are held.
BASE solutions wanted to take part. We have showed the Analysis of the supply and assembly of offshore wind turbines in port.
We have presented an analysis of the conditions that a port should have to support the offshore marine wind activity. Based on these conditions, we have made a benchmarking of European ports in which the activity is carried out successfully. Finally, we have analyzed the Outer Port of A Coruña to hold this industry, reaching the conclusion that this can be a great asset to attract activity related to the offshore wind.
